Reverend Bob was the pastor of the local Baptist Church, and Pastor Ted was the minister of the Covenant Chruch across the road. They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground that read:

"The End Is Near Turn Yourself Around Before It's Too Late!"

As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and yelled, "You religious nuts!"

From around the curve they heard screeching tires and a big splash...

Bro. Bob turned to Bro. Ted and asked, "Do you think maybe the sign just ought to say 'Bridge Out.'"
